TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF VENDOR PARTICIPATION:

This form is used to apply for a rented space for vendor sales at an OUTDOOR event sponsored by the Galt Area Historical Society, Inc., a private non-profit entity (hereinafter "Organizer"). The following terms and conditions apply to any vendor selected to participate in Organizer's event.  Vendor selects an individual event in which to participate (hereinafter known as "Designated Event" or "Event").

Designated Event is OUTDOORS AND OCCURS RAIN OR SHINE.  Organizer makes no warranty as to weather conditions for the Designated Event.

​

SETUP for vendors begins at 7:00 a.m. on the day of the Event.  Vendors may bring their vehicle to their booth space to unload and then must immediately park their vehicle in the vendor parking area and then commence with setting up their booth.  No vehicles are allowed in the vendor booth area during the Designated Event.

Event concludes at 2:00 p.m.  Please first tear down your booth and then proceed to bring your car to your booth space to load. 

​

Vendors must maintain and provide a valid California Seller’s Permit or a legally valid reason for not having one. Vendors must also provide a state driver license or identification number as part of the application process.  This is a California requirement. 

​

The vendor application may be rejected if not complete.

​

Booth space is only guaranteed upon completion and acceptance of the application and receipt of the vendor booth space fee by the Galt Area Historical Society.  Upon acceptance of vendor application, an invoice will be sent to vendor at the email submitted.

Vendor is only being rented a space to set up their own booth.  The vendor is responsible to provide tables, chairs, a canopy or canopies, and all setup and display materials.

​

Open flame and/or bar-b-ques or other types of cooking stoves are not permitted in vendor spaces.  

​

Booth space sizes are 10’ x 10’ and 10’ x 20’, please plan accordingly.  All vendor items must fit within the designated booth space including without limitation all items for sale, all display materials, signage and personal belongings. 

​

NO REFUNDS will be given unless the Organizer cancels the Event prior to start of the Event. 

​

ALL CANOPIES must be secured at each corner with a 10-pound weight.  Canopies will not be allowed to be set up if the corners are not secured with a 10-pound weight.  No refunds will be given for spaces required to remove canopies because of a failure of the vendor to secure the corners with 10-pound weights.

No electricity is available for the vendor rental spaces.  No generators are allowed.

​

Vendors understand and agree that the Event Organizer is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged equipment, merchandise, or personal belongings.  Organizer is not responsible for accident and or injury to vendors, or guests, customers, or associates of vendors.

​

Organizer makes no warranty, express or implied, regarding quantity or quality of sales, sales expectations or anticipated revenue receipts of vendors selling merchandise, services or food.  Vendors acknowledge that they are solely responsible for the financial success of their participation in the Event.

RELEASE OF LIABILITY.  I, the undersigned vendor, making application to participate in the designated event, hereby indemnify and hold harmless the Galt Area Historical Society, Inc., and County of Sacramento and their respective officers, officials, employees, agents, and volunteers from and against judgements, and liabilities arising, directly or indirectly, from my participation in this Designated Event.
